RULES AND REGULATIONS

Sportscar SUPER GT 2024 

1. Goals and objectives of the competition:
The Championship is held with the aim of developing and popularizing sim racing.

 

The objectives of the tournament are: popularization of racing, identification of the best athletes in conditions as close as possible to real motorsport.

 

The main purpose of the regulations is to hold competitions in which the strongest pilots will be determined according to the rules of FairPlay (fair fight).

 

The priority of the regulations is common sense and the rules of fair play, as understood by the organizers.

 

All controversial issues not described in these regulations are resolved at the discretion of the organizers based on their understanding of justice and common sense.

1.1. Incidents can be dealt with after the completion of the stage, even if there was no protest.

1.2. Appeals are not accepted and incidents are not dealt with again.

 

2.Championship  

Sportscar SUPER GT 2024 

conducted on the MRS portal.

The championship is held on the basis of the Assetto Corsa Competizione game.

GT3 Team Championship.

  • A handicap system is used to equalize the forces of the participants.

  • The pilots are divided into the pro and AM categories. ( participants choose the category themselves at registration, but based on the results of the races, some pilots may be transferred to the category corresponding to their skills )

  •  Pro  - participants who regularly show fast track passing times.

  •   Am   - participants who mostly fight within the race results to the top 10.

  • Team standings - the team with the most points wins.

  • Overall standings - the winner with the highest number of points among all participants of the championship is determined.

  • Pro standings - the winner with the highest number of points among the pro pilots is determined.

  • Am standings - the winner with the highest number of points among the am pilots is determined.

  • Separate start of the pilot categories. ( if such a start is planned )

2.2.safety car

If there is a blockage (about 5 or more cars), then by the decision of the organizers, the safety car mode can be announced. Overtaking is prohibited until the race restarts from the course.
The drivers must move behind the safety car or the race leader as well as on the installation lap.

The safety car mode will be announced in the game chat or in the Discord in the walkie-talkie mode. ( We recommend pilots to be in discord in walkie - talkie mode during the race )

Online judging will be used in the events. ( if the judge is at the event )

6.Members:

Participants who have registered on the website are allowed to participate in the championship

Simgrid ( https://www.thesimgrid.com/championships/7090 ) and members of a team registered for the championship

6.1 Each participant must create a pilot profile on the site.

  • select one or two digit idle tail number. 

  • choose a category for the competition -  Pro  or   Am 

  • join the team that is registered for the championship.

6.2 

  • If you miss a stage for some reason, then you need to notify the organizers about your absence from the stage

7.Teams:

Any participant can register a championship team (the number of teams is not limited).

  • registering teams in the MRS discord

  • restrictions on the number of participants - 2 pilots per team -

  • two pilots are allowed to participate in one crew

  • if you do not want to participate in the team, then there is an offer for you to drive a NISSAN GT3 2015 car in a separate competition

  • the replacement of pilots is allowed at any stage, for this it is necessary to notify the organizers in advance.

7.1. The Championship team must have:

  1. Team name

  2. pilots  

  3. manager

  4. GT3 car of the same model for the whole season!

  5. a single coloring for their cars

12.Handicaps:

In the SportsCar SUPER GT 2024 Championship, Weight Penalty is applied. Weight Penalty redistribution is carried out after each race according to the occupied places in the race.

Max: 30 kg

1st place: +30 kg

2nd place: +25 kg

3rd place: +20 kg

4th place: +15  kg

5th place: +10 kg

6th place: +5 kg
7th place: +5 kg
8th place: +5 kg
9th place: 0 kg
10th place: -10 kg

All other occupied positions: -30 kg

 

12.1. Restrictor

The power limiter (restrictor ) is installed for pilots who have exceeded the maximum Weight Penalty, which increases after each race.
Every 5 kg of additional weight = 2%

restrictor = 2% power limit at maximum speed.

12.2. Pilots in the top 10 in the overall championship standings additionally receive + 2% restrictor

12.3. All pilots of the teams from the top 5 of the team standings receive + 2% restrictor

12.4.PRO category pilots who join after the start of the Championship receive   in their first race +30 kg  ,  next agreeabout p.p. 12.

 

13.General rules:

13.1.Any insult to the participants and organizers in the discord, game chat, voice channels and forums is prohibited!

 

13.2. It is forbidden to use the game chat during the main qualifying sessions, the race and until the last driver has finished! It is allowed to use the chat in practice (minimum and on business), in extra time of sessions/between sessions.

 

13.3. - After the FINISH, pilots are required to complete the final lap( 90 km/h ) , then drive under your own power into the pits. Through Esc return to the boxes is prohibited!  Violators will be punished.

 

13.4. If there is an accident in front of your car, a blockage (stopping rivals), you must slow down, it is allowed to go around the blockage only if you do not hit anyone.

 

13.5. The pilots who turned around in the back of the field, got into the blockage,you have to stay put and don't move, first let pass passing opponents, then it is allowed to make maneuvers for a turn.

13.6. All participants necessarily be on DISCORD  at the briefing.
The briefing is held before the qualification, for 10 minutes before the beginning.

 

14. Start procedure:

Flying start. Pilots must keep a clear distance from the one in front.not less than the bodycar.
It is forbidden to enter and pass through cars of rivals.
Violations of this paragraph will be punished.

 

14.1. At the start time (green lights), all cars must take their positions according to the qualification or starting position given by the game.

14.2.  Allowed speed on the warm-up lap = 90 km/h
Race start speed limit = 90 km/h (the race leader sets the pace)

14.3.   In the Championship, the start takes place without a start marker.

14.4. Start only at traffic light. 

15.Overtaking and defense rules:

15.1. Pilots can arbitrarily choose the trajectory of movement within the entire width of the route until parallel movement begins. When driving in parallel, the pilots must leave each other at least one width of the car from the borders of the highway. Undercutting and crowding are not correct defense techniques and are prohibited.

15.2. The overtaking pilot has the right to attempt overtaking in a turn and parallel movement throughout it if there was movement in the racing base by the beginning of the turn. If there was no movement in the racing base, the attacking pilot is obliged to leave enough space for the opponent to pass the turn.

 

15.3. When defending a position before a parallel movement occurs, one trajectory change is allowed within the area between turns. Multiple changes of the trajectory before the parallel movement occurs in order to protect the position - blocking is prohibited.

 

15.3.1. Wagging in order to throw the pursuing car out of the air bag is equivalent to blocking.

15.4.1. In a turn, the car in front must pass the turn without shifting towards the opponent, in the event of a collision due to the overlap of the trajectory (slamming the gate), the fault will be on the car in front.

 

15.4.2. In the case when the car in front has fulfilled paragraph 15.4.1., but the opponent knocked it out in the turn, then the fault will be on the pursuer.

 

15.5. The racing base of the car is limited by the edge of the front bumper and the rear.

The movement in the racing base is the position of cars on the track, in which the lateral projection of the front bumper of one car and the rear bumper of another car overlap when moving in parallel.

15.6.  It is impossible to squeeze completely out of the track under any circumstances.

16. blue flags

All pilots are required to correctly miss a faster car if it overtakes you by a lap or more.

 

16.1. The faster driver is allowed to return to the lead lap.

16.2. You must pass the faster car within 5 turns after the blue flags have been shown.

 

17.Rules of conduct on the track:

Drivers should treat each other with respect, avoid creating emergency situations if possible.

Rough fighting is prohibited. The roughness of the fight is determined at the discretion of the chief judge.

Intentional knockouts are strictly prohibited and will be punished to the fullest extent, up to disqualification from the championship.

 

17.1. Intentional blocking and restraining of an opponent is prohibited.  Penalty start from the last position.  If repeated, disqualification from the Championship.

 

17.2. When leaving the pit lane, it is forbidden to cross the white line.

If the opponent's car leaves the pit, then the car driving along the track has no right to go along the pit corridor...

17.3. Unsafe return to the track will be penalized.

 

eighteen. fines:

The referee has the right to apply penalties:

1) Adding 30 seconds to the result at the end of the race.

2) Start from last position

3) Driving through the pit lane

4) Cancellation of race results.

5) Disqualification from the stage

6) Disqualification from the championship

7) Warning ( 1 warning ), if the participant is found guilty of a collision or violation of the rules,  then he will be fined 1 warning = at the next stage 5 sec. 

18.1. All violations of the rules of conduct on the track and the rules of overtaking, if they were not made by the game, are punished with a fine of up to 30 seconds at the end of the race.

 

18.2. Unsportsmanlike behavior is punished with a fine - "Disqualification from the stage"

 

nineteen. Scoring:

+ 21, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 5, 4, 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1- (from 25th to 30th place)

Bonuses:
pole position +1
best lap +1
In the last two stages, all pilots receive 100 bonus points.
if you are unable to take part in the races, you must notify the organizers about the pass in order not to lose bonus points.
The team standings include the 2 best results of the team for each race.

 

19.1. In case of equal points in the standings, the place is determined by the number of first places taken. If the same, then the second places and so on.

 

This regulation is an invitation to participate in the Championship.

 

If you have submitted an application for participation in the Championship, then you automatically agree with the rules of the Championship and undertake to comply with all points of the rules of these regulations.
